I am the newest addition to the WCHS counseling staff, but this is my 13th year in education and my 5th year as a guidance counselor. Coming to work at WCHS is full circle for me as I did my student teaching here in 1998 while attending Illinois State University. I worked as a special education teacher for 6 years, beginning my career at District 50 Schools. I spent the last 7 years in the Columbia, Missouri, area, where I received my Master’s Degree in School and Community Counseling from Stephens College. I am passionate about helping students enrich their lives academically, socially and emotionally.
