PARENT/ATHLETE MEETING
August 9, 2010 6:30pm
at Five Points Washington Theatre
The mandatory meeting for incoming freshmen and transfer students/and any upper class first time sport participants in athletics for this school year has been set. Parents must accompany their child to the meeting as there will be a short video and forms for both athletes and their parents to sign. The forms and video must be completed before students can participate in athletics at WCHS.
Fall sports first contact day is Wednesday, August 11th. For information on times, dates, and places for tryouts go to the 2010 Fall Tryouts page. All athletes will need a physical, Athletic Release Form and an IHSA Steroid Drug Testing policy before being allowed to practice. At that time the athlete will receive their Athletic Permit Card to be given to their coach. The cards will be available starting August 3rd in the Athletic Directors office, room #114 to begin practice in any sports.

There will also be a Golf informational meeting for boys trying out for the first time at 6:00pm in the front corridor of Five Points. Parents are encourged to attend.
