College and Career Success: This is a student success course to help develop academic success skills for college and assist with career decision making. Students will assess their abilities, interests, personality, work styles, and other factors as they relate to vocational choices and career development. Academic study skills discussed will include time management, note-taking, test-taking, reading, Internet use for research, learning styles, and other study skills that will help lead to improved student performance. This course is offered for 3 college credit hours through Illinois Central College for Psychology 114 (College Orientation—2 credit hours) and Psychology 119 (Vocational Choice—1 credit hour).
