Panther Fans - Place Your Vote in "Battle of the Fans"

WCHS fans, we need your help! CSN Chicago, home of the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) State Championships has launched an online contest, “Battle of the Fans.”  We are competing against other student sections in Illinois. Voting starts at noon today and ends Feb. 23 at 4 pm CT for the first round. The brackets will continue to play out over the next four weeks. Check out the pics for more information. WEA to Host WCHS Board of Education Meet the Candidates Night

The Washington Education Association is hosting a Meet the Candidates night for the upcoming Board of Education election. The purpose of the evening is to give candidates a forum to introduce their philosophies and platforms to the community. To accomplish this goal, the WEA is giving the candidates the opportunity to share some of their ideas in both a written and oral format, which may be accessible to the public through electronic media.

WCHS Board of Education Welcomes Chris Armstrong

The Washington Community High School Board of Education is pleased to announce that Christopher Armstrong was selected to join the board, filling a recent vacancy. Chris previously served on the board from 2009-2013 and also served as vice president for one year of his term. Chris is a 40 year Washington resident and WCHS graduate. He and his wife met at WCHS, and now their oldest of three children attends their alma mater. His strong belief that education is a foundational tool, and his personal experiences with continued education, career and extra-curricular activities will result in a balanced view. We look forward to working with Chris and feel his previous experience with WCHS and the board of education will be a valuable addition.

2015-2016 Yearbooks

Any students or alumni who ordered a 2016 yearbook can pick it up at the WCHS front receptionist office Monday-Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. The office will be closed December 21 - January 4 for holiday break.
