2020-21 Yearbook Orders Due

Yearbook orders due May 21! If you haven't ordered a yearbook for this school year, and would like to do so, place your order through your Skyward account on or before May 21. You must complete the transaction with a credit card payment online or by sending in a check to the district office. Orders not paid by May 21 will be removed. There will not be any extra books available for purchase when they arrive next year, so order soon!
How to order: Family Access in Skyward > Fee Management > Add a fee > Select yearbook. You may also double check if you have already ordered and paid for a yearbook in this area of Skyward.

Summer Meal Program

Washington Community High School, in conjunction with the extended Summer Food Service Program, will continue the free breakfast and lunch program through the end of June 2021. This program is available to all students. 

Complete the 2021 Summer Meal Order Form by Wednesday, May 26 at 4 p.m. for the June 1 pick-up and to best assist the food services group with planning. 

NOTE: Any orders placed for pick-up days after June 1 must be submitted the Friday before pick-up by 10 p.m. Pick-up days are on Tuesday (June 1, 8, 15, 22 & 29) from 10:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. at WCHS, door 20. Meals will be packaged for a 7-day period based on your family size and will require preparation before eating. If you have questions or need to arrange an alternative pick-up, please contact Laura McCue-Newport (309) 444-5544 or This USDA program is a carryover from the free breakfast and lunch program instituted last spring in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and will continue through the end of the school year, which ends in June 2021.

Summer School Registration (April 12-June 1)

Washington Community High School is offering in-person elective courses this summer from June 7-July 9, 2021 (no school Monday, July 5). Below you will find information about important considerations for summer school and a chart listing each course and the schedule.

Note: Students who require credit recovery courses or are eligible for driver education will be sent an additional email with instructions for enrolling in those courses. Credit recovery and driver education courses are not listed in the summer school Web Store.

Board of Education Meeting Livestream

Beginning with the March 8, 2021 meeting, all WCHS Board of Education Meetings will be livestreamed through the district YouTube channel, WCHS District 308.  The link for a meeting will appear on the YouTube channel when the  livestream begins.
