As part of the district’s long-term facilities planning efforts over several years, multiple improvement projects will begin in Summer 2026, starting with the construction of a new restroom facility, concession stand, changing rooms, and weight room near the football stadium. The project improves student learning and campus safety. Relocating the current weight room will create additional space for expanded Career and Technical Education (CTE) programming, and the external weight room improves campus security by reducing internal traffic during after-school and evening activities. The restrooms in the existing concession stand are failing and must be replaced in accordance with our Health/Life/Safety Survey. The new concession stand and accessible restrooms will benefit students, families, and the community.

The district has responsibly planned for this work by setting aside funds over time as part of a larger, long-range facility plan. The project will be funded through a combination of designated district funds, the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Fund, Capital Projects funds, and a small portion (less than 10%) of the recently authorized Health/Life/Safety (H/L/S) bonds.
